Fife Area Scouts sent a party of 25 Scouts as part of the Central Scotland Unit attending the World Jamboree in Chile. Three came from 10th Fife (1st Cupar) Scout Group...
During summer 1998 I finished as the Senior Patrol Leader with the "Monday Patrols" and was fortunate enough to be successful during the "selection camps." I attended the World Jamboree during my first months as a Venture Scout. As you can imagine it was expensive to go to Chile so I had to embarked upon a number of fund raising projects as an individual, with my local group and with the "team." I am grateful to everyone who gave me assistance in raising funds and making this experience possible.
