Left Cupar at 1400 hours to head to the Rosyth Ferry for 1500 hours boarding.  Odometer reading was 1897 miles and set off with a full tank of fuel.

Left the ferry at Zeebrugge and headed to join the E-40 near Brugge.  Continue to Liege then cross country passing by the Nurburgring on B258 and through to Koblenz.  At Koblenz head south once over the Rhine, on the B42, heading south along the east bank of the Rhine to St. Goarshausen where head off on B274 for Bögel then off to Ruppertshofen and B&B

Ruppertshofen – St. Goarshausen – Mainz then on to Autobahn A63 – A61 – A65 – Karlsruhe – A8 – A7 – Ulm – A96 becoming A14 entering Austria to Bregenz.  A14 [E60] through to Landeck.  Considerable road works in Germany on the motorways with much 1^st gear and clutch slipping speeds for mile after mile!  Arrive just after 8 pm (20 minutes to spare before dinner serving finished) at Hotel Enzian.
