The boat was built in 1980 and is a MK1.  It is in very good condition and has had many extras added.   It is currently situated at my home in Spain near Valencia.   The trailer is 2 wheeled and the boat sits on a detachable launching trailer which can be winched on and off the main trailer.   The boat has various sails: 5 x No.1 Genoa sails (1 with hanks) - various ages and conditions 2 x Spinnakers (one has had repairs made to it) 4 x Main Sails one with battons - various ages and conditions High Clew No. 2 with hanks No. 2 Genoa   The interior is fine but could probably do with an update. It has a head, 2 burner stove, sink, seating (bunk cushions in main saloon). It has 2 rudders, 1 pivoting and 1 standard. It has a wind up and down winch for the keel (non standard). Plus the original Tirfor Winch (hand crank).   It has navigational equipment by SILVA as follows: Star Wind which gives wind direction, tacking angles, ideal for racing Star Sea Data which gives wind speed, direction, boat speed, distance travelled   It also comes with: Compass Hawk Wind Indicator (brand new) Echo Sounder Fenders Water Tank Stainless steel fittings (various) 2 x Spinlock Jammers  with 3 banks on each   I have a file with full history and E-Boat information and full details of this E-Boat’s fixtures and fittings.     contact Peter Nunn e-mail: peternunn@hotmail.com

E-Boat Bits and Pieces...

E-Boat Racing on DVD (November 2006)- "We have several copies of the film of the 2006 Irish E Boat National Championships. It may be of interest to any E boaters that are interested to see E Boats racing. We produced the film to raise money for the Simon Community (Homeless) of Ireland. The DVD costs 10 euro or 6 sterling and includes P+P.

"I have commissioned a foundry to cast a keel for me the price of casting is very reasonable, £397 + vat. However, I also had to have a pattern made as I could not track down the original. This cost £1,035 + vat. At least now there is a pattern in existence and and any member needing a keel in future can be referred to me."
The pattern is now for sale.
