Car Sticker

E-Boat window stickers (for cars etc.) are normally available at £1.00 each (includes post and packing) from the secretary. Current supplies are low so a reprint is being ordered.

The design is shown here in sample quality only. The real stickers however are of good quality.

Due to lack of crew, I am sadly selling Eagle. This 1983 Mk2 has been kept up to the mark in every way, and comes with the following:
Raised coachroof version with original keel profile. Kemp Mast new 1996. Dyeform shrouds new 2006. Selden boom new 2005. Twin track foil forestay allowing two sails to be pre- rigged for hoisting and reducing/adding sail area.
All sails by Saturn sails of Largs Scotland: Main laminated and extra roach with full top batten (out of class spec.) 2nd Main Dacron (in class spec.) No1 Genoa laminated (out of class spec.) No 2 genoa Dacron. No 3 jib Dacron. Storm jib orange and unused. Spinnaker (red white & blue)
Tohatsu Saildrive 5hp with high thrust prop (4 stroke) new 2009.
Navico RT 6500S VHF with masthead aerial and windex. Cockpit speaker.
Tricolour mast head nav. Light Echopilot Bronze Trio log , depth & GPS repeater (GPS not inc.) new 2006
7kg CQR Anchor with chain new 2007. Worm drive keel lift winch. Sea check certificate

This bargain is being sold as a work in progress, already the trailer has been fully refurbished with new rollers, new wheel bearings etc, and a new keelbox has been made and fitted to the boat. There are no sails with her and she needs reupholstering as some of the cushions are missing.

The boat is fully sound, the standing rigging is in good order, although the running rigging could do with partial replacement. The vessel is currently lying out of the water on her trailer on the Medway, we are happy for any viewings. Please contact me to arrange this."

E-Boat Bits and Pieces...

E-Boat Racing on DVD (November 2006)- "We have several copies of the film of the 2006 Irish E Boat National Championships. It may be of interest to any E boaters that are interested to see E Boats racing. We produced the film to raise money for the Simon Community (Homeless) of Ireland. The DVD costs 10 euro or 6 sterling and includes P+P.

"I have commissioned a foundry to cast a keel for me the price of casting is very reasonable, £397 + vat. However, I also had to have a pattern made as I could not track down the original. This cost £1,035 + vat. At least now there is a pattern in existence and and any member needing a keel in future can be referred to me."
The pattern is now for sale.

Webmaster's Note:
Not sure if this is still the case, but permitted towing width in UK and mainland Europe were slightly different resulting in the E-Boat being carried at a slight angle when towed "abroad." However with recent harmonisation of EU rules there is probably no requirement for the rotating trailer.
